Zoo-EV is an IRS-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, EIN 88-3636567. This page explains the giving routes currently linked from the site and how Zoo-EV describes the purpose of a gift.
Direct PayPal donation
The direct route opens Zoo-EV’s hosted PayPal donation page. The gift is processed by PayPal and received directly by Zoo-EV. PayPal processing fees apply.
PayPal Giving Fund
This route opens Zoo-EV’s separate PayPal Giving Fund charity page. The donation is made to PayPal Giving Fund with a recommendation for Zoo-EV, then granted to the organization. PayPal says it covers transaction fees for donations made through its website or app; currency-conversion fees may apply.
General gifts
A general donation supports Zoo-EV’s overall mission where it is needed most, including education, scientific content, partnership development, fundraising, reporting, and organizational capacity. It is not represented as a pass-through to a particular field project.
Campaign-specific gifts
When Zoo-EV presents a named campaign, its page should state the intended purpose and provide the correct campaign-specific donation link. If no campaign page is active, contact Zoo-EV before donating rather than relying on a payment note to create a restriction.
Confirmations and questions
PayPal or PayPal Giving Fund provides the transaction confirmation for gifts completed on its services. Keep that confirmation with your records. For questions about a gift, campaign purpose, correction, or other donation matter, email info@Zoo-EV.org.
